That night, when the women attack, the men carry out Hercules’ plan; they insist on talking to the women and getting to know them a little before making love.  Meanwhile, Hercules woos Hippolyta.
The next morning, the men and women are anything but enemies.  Hera again demands Hercules’ death, but Hippolyta refuses.  Enraged, Hera possesses Hippolyta’s body and orders the reluctant women to slaughter the men.
